Summary:
The Clinical Nursing Manager RN manages activities, workflow, and nursing resources of assigned nursing unit(s).
Responsibilities:
o Ensures compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
o Conducts hiring, training, directing, development, and evaluating of staff.
o Develops and implements policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective delivery of health services in a unit.
o Monitors and adheres to budget.
o Participates in development and completion of strategic business operating plans, goals and objectives as well as department strategies, goals and objectives.
o Participates on committees, councils, and administrative teams as appropriate to position.
o Performs other duties as assigned.
Education &
Experience:
o Bachelor of Science.
o Five (5) total years of experience is required to include three (3) years of successful nursing experience and two (2) years of successful leadership experience is required, demonstrating leadership within processes and within service areas, on interdisciplinary teams, representative participation in Councils or Congress, and continuous upward movement in career.
o Three (3) years of equivalent non-nursing management experience may substitute for one (1) year of clinical nursing experience (successful nursing experience must be full time).
o Bachelor's degree in Nursing or higher nursing degree is required.
Licenses & Certifications:
o Nurse Executive-Board Certified is preferred.
o Current Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the state of Texas is required or must be obtained prior to hire or job transfer date.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
