Responsibilities:
In addition, you will:

Implement laboratory tests on metallic and sometimes non:
metallic materials :
Conduct parts inspections using engineering test procedures; conduct control tests on weld and induction hardened parts; develop hardness profiles; plot and record test results :
Determine if parts meet specifications; notify production operators and supervisors of inspection results that fail to meet specifications :
Support Engineering Department in customer visits, meetings, or presentations :
Supervise metallurgical and laboratory staff :
Manage the Metallurgical Laboratory systems :
Perform metallurgical and metrological inspections of components :
Coordinate and lead training for current and new equipment, tools, methods, and procedures :
Analyze data, draw conclusions, and develop corrective measures :
Develop material specifications as required to support and meet customer and company standards :
Perform CQI:
9 heat treatment audits of source plants and suppliers' plants :
Work with cross functional teams developing heat treatment and welding processes to achieve desired metallurgical properties :
Create / update materials, product, and purchasing specifications :
Analyze components either returned from industrial / aftermarket customers or after completion of internal testing Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Material Science Engineering, or related Engineering discipline :
Minimum of 3 years of related industry experience Additional Eligibility
