Plan project scoping activities to effectively outline metrics and deliverables for goal establishment :
Develop project investment and cost budgets :
capital, cost and expense estimation for financial viability review :
Fully understand all materials and processes used in product design; plastics, metal fabrication, glass, electronics :
Lead cross:
functional meetings and associated communications :
Ensure all aspects of projects are defined and executed in a legal, safe and environmentally:
responsible manner :
Review technical specifications required for projects :
Specify equipment and components used in project :
Work with internal engineering staff and managers to ensure deliverables are on time and in compliance :
Work with operations and manufacture personnel to successfully assure successful project implementations and start:
ups :
Create and manage project timelines for the design, prototype, drawing releases and production of products :
Conduct engineering studies on designs for products, associated and subsystem components and structures :
Analyze engineering proposals, project requirements and related technical data pertaining to product design :
Work in conjunction with Engineering to review product specifications and determine design and manufacturing feasibility :
Confer with Engineering to clarify and resolve problems and develop product design parameters :
Direct and coordinate the preparation of product drawings :
Direct and coordinate the manufacturing of prototype products or systems :
Plan and develop test programs as applicable :
Review and analyze test data and reports to determine if product design meets functional and performance specifications :
Assist with the preparation of RFQs :
Analyze product design and manufacturing capability :
Be responsible for product engineering actions to meet specified timelines :
Assists with Six Sigma / Quality improvement projects as required Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline :
Minimum of 6 years of experience in project engineering or management position Additional Eligibility
