The Lead Supplier Quality Engineer will demonstrate accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives.

Be responsible for driving quality for assigned suppliers, improving quality performance via Quality Plan implementation :
Drive supplier selection through robust qualification processes :
Accelerate improvements in supplier quality and deliver value :
Develop positive relationships and work closely with Sourcing Leaders to manage and implement supplier / engineering changes, New Product Introductions, and transfers :
Interface with Suppliers and Supply Chain to drive Quality improvements :
Deliver results as measured by key metrics, such as supplier yield, field cost, field defect rate, supplier quality plan engagement / effectiveness, and corrective and preventative action closure :
Drive improvements utilizing Supplier Scorecards and own Supplier audit, ensuring supplier compliance, and driving improvement plans :
Understand and drive Six Sigma quality internally and with suppliers :
Be responsible for the overall quality of the product, process, and outgoing quality for all material manufactured :
Manage and implement the quality system, incorporating all specifications and customer requirements :
Establish goals, work plans, and budgets so that lowest cost and highest quality results are achieved :
Ensure that unit activities comply with all applicable government regulations and contract requirements Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university :
Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Engineering, Quality or Manufacturing role Additional Eligibility

Knowledge in ASTM / ASME Material Standards, EN, and PED knowledge :
