_Job Summary _ Combines technical expertise with business knowledge to enable and implement enterprise level GIS related software and solutions.
Participates in analysis, design, development, implementation, maintenance and modification of complex automated geographic information systems, databases, enterprise software.
_Essential Duties and Responsibilities _ Develops, plans, and implements complex GIS applications software for the internal and external users; Designs and develops complex GIS database models and templates Utilizes, applies and verifies programs for debugging and editing programs for accessing, maintaining, linking and populating GIS databases from internal sources and external vendors Manages existing design templates to maintain software architecture and implementation standards.
Tests topology for structure and accuracy of spatial data components of the centerline file, parcel polygons, other polygon datasets assuring sound principles of topology.
Assists and responds to questions from end-users, developers, and customers regarding GIS requirements, software, data and projects Assists in analyzing, testing, and resolving production problems; assists in writing procedures for utilizing GIS software and applications; and performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor''s Degree, in GIS, Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration or similar area of study.
Five or more years of previous GIS related experience required.
An additional four years of related experience may substitute for the Bachelor''s degree.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements None required.
C.
Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required Advanced knowledge or skills in one or more of the following required:
Experience as a GIS Administrator used as part of a routing and logistics solution.
Experience in enterprise systems implementation using ESRI suite of products including ArcGIS Server 9.
x, ArcObjects, WebServices Experience with.
Python, NET/ Silverlight (Silverlight 3.
0 preferred) and or Adobe Flex (v2.
4) Spatial database design using Oracle / SQL Server and ArcSDE.
Experience with Enterprise applications architecture and design.
Ability to work in a group collaboratively, solve problems, and accomplish tasks.
Experience in the use of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
Strong organization skills, ownership and accountability.
Ability to work in fast-paced environment.

Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities that Contribute to Success May require advanced skills in one or more of the following:
Experience in the Transportation and/or Routing and Logistics industries.
_Work Environment _ Required to use motor coordination with finger dexterity (such as keyboarding, machine operation, etc) most of the work day; Required to exert physical effort in handling objects less than 30 pounds rarely; Required to be exposed to physical occupational risks (such as cuts, burns, exposure to toxic chemicals, etc) rarely; Required to be exposed to physical environment which involves dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements rarely; Normal setting for this job is:
