Job Description The Draftsman will receive sketches or notes from the product sales team and will assist the Lead Engineer with preparing 3D CAD models and detail drawings.
In addition, this member of the Engineering team will:
Make final sketch of proposed drawing, checking to make sure all requirements are complete according to the customer's needs Utilize knowledge of various machines, engineering practices, mathematics, building materials, and other physical sciences to complete drawings.
Create model design from sketches; make adjustments or changes as necessary or desired.
JOB REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in related engineering field 2-5 years of related design experience Extensive experience drawing, sketching and preparing design presentation drawings The ability to create design concepts and continue the development through all design phases.
Must be able to work well in a design team environment and with senior management.
Should have extremely strong inter-personal skills and a hands-on leadership mentality.
Aggressive, client oriented personalities with an aptitude for progressive design will succeed in this position.
Experience working in a variety of software including Google Sketch-up, CAD Software, Cheaf Estimator Source:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
